Fall is in full swing, the weather is cool in the mornings and nights, the days are still somewhat warm, and the pumpkin spiced lattes are tastier than ever. Today I am sharing, a gray sweater with a little bit of denim type of look. Since I can’t wear tees in the winter (unless it’s under something), I will gladly settle for over sized sweaters.

Today I wanted to share with you 5 quick and easy tips to dress up a basic look. As I had mentioned in some of my previous posts here and here, simple and chic is what I like the most and what I feel the most comfortable in. Give me all the comfy jeans and t-shirts in the world and I will be so happy. I think this has been exacerbated by motherhood. I have always loved this sort of style, but now comfort is all that matters in my attire. However, sometimes you need to dress it up a bit.
One of the things I don’t like about cold weather is being cold ALL THE TIME! This is why layering is crucial for me to feel comfortable. Sweaters and cardigans are my best friend this time of year. When I saw this sweater, I knew I had to have it. The material is incredibly soft and stretchy too, not at all scratchy. It feels like you are wrapped up in a blanket, it’s that cozy. I am wearing an extra small here because it does run big.
Long cardigans are all the rage this fall season…especially, when they are paired with a white tee, some jeans and a pair of cute booties. Add a blanket scarf for those chilly nights and you have the perfect cozy look.
